Call to cleanup

From the first call to the last chip hauled

1

Tell us about the tree

Call, text a photo, or send the form. A photo of the trunk and what's around it usually tells us most of what we need before we ever pull up.

2

We walk it with you

An arborist looks at lean, deadwood, root flare, and what's underneath it — then hands you a written price and an honest opinion on whether it even needs to come down.

3

We climb, cut, and clear

The crew rigs it down in controlled sections, grinds what you asked us to grind, and rakes the yard out. Branches, chips, and logs leave with us.

What it costs

What tree work actually costs around here

Height, lean, access, and what's underneath decide the price — so the assessment is free and the number is specific to your tree. Here's roughly where Oakhurst jobs land.

Trim or small tree

Starting at $250

A modest tree taken down, a round of clearance pruning off the roofline, or one stump ground out. A few hours, one crew.

Mid-size removal

Starting at $650

A mature tree with room to work, a full crown thinning across several trees, or a batch of stumps ground and cleaned up.

Best value

Tall or tight-access

Starting at $1,400

A big trunk over the house, near the lines, or rigged out piece by piece from a backyard with no gate. A full day with the chipper running.

Storm & emergency response

Quoted on-site

A trunk on the roof or across the drive gets priced when we see the scene. Call first — we'll tell you what's safe to touch and what isn't.

  • Free written assessment, no obligation
  • Chips, logs, and brush hauled off in every quote
  • The price we write down is the price you pay

Why hire us

Why people call us about the tree they're worried about

An arborist looks, not a salesman

The person who prices your job is the person who reads the tree — lean, decay pockets, root flare, what's above and below it. You get a diagnosis, not a pitch.

Rigging beats dropping

Anything near a roof, a fence, or a line comes down in pieces on ropes. It takes longer and it's why nothing under the tree gets hurt.

We'll talk you out of a removal

Plenty of trees we're called about can be saved with pruning, cabling, or just time. If yours can, we'll say so — and quote the cheaper job.

The yard is the last step

Ropes down, rakes out. Chips, logs, and brush go on the truck and the ruts get raked flat before we pull off your driveway.

Ask an arborist

Questions we get asked at the base of the tree

Is a certified arborist actually on the job?

Yes — the person who assesses your tree is the person who prices it, and a certified arborist is on every crew that works your property. Ask to see credentials and insurance before we start; we expect the question.

Does the assessment cost anything?

No. We come out, walk the tree with you, and leave a written price. There's no fee and no obligation to book, even if we tell you the tree doesn't need the work you called about.

What happens to the branches, chips, and logs?

They leave with us. Haul-off is inside the quoted price. If you want the wood cut to stove length and stacked instead, say so up front — most people do.

The tree is right over my roof. Can you still take it?

That's what rigging is for. We climb it, tie off each section, and lower the pieces under control rather than dropping them. It's slower than a straight fell, and it's the reason nothing underneath gets touched.

A tree came down in the storm. How fast can you get here?

Storm and hazard calls jump the schedule, often same day. Call (555) 123-4567 — and stay away from anything touching a power line until the utility clears it.

Does this tree have to come down, or can it be saved?

Often it can. Deadwood pruning, cabling a weak union, or simply giving it a season is the right answer more often than people expect. Removal is the last option we reach for, not the default.

Worried about a tree? Let's go look at it.

One free visit tells you whether it's a prune, a cable, or a removal — and exactly what it costs. No fee for the opinion either way.
